Party Favor & Workshop Pack — Stable Blanket Kits for Groups

A proper craft session for a group, and a favor everyone takes home.

Each guest gets her own DIY stable blanket kit for model horses: pre-cut fabric, miniature buckles, ribbons and threads, sealed in her own bag. No sewing, no scissors needed, no mess on the table.

About an hour, and it earns the hour

A stable blanket has more pieces than a saddle pad — buckles to thread, straps to fit, a chest closure to line up. It holds attention for a full session and the finished piece looks properly made, which is what makes it worth keeping rather than losing by Sunday.

Best for children from 9 or 10 upwards, teenagers and adults. For younger guests or a shorter slot, our saddle pad pack is the better choice at 20 to 30 minutes.

Who it suits

Teenage birthday parties, riding club afternoons, school craft sessions, holiday workshops, mother-and-daughter mornings. Anywhere you need one activity to fill a real slot with a group of eight to twelve — and send everyone home with something they made.

• 8, 10 or 12 individual stable blanket kits, each sealed in its own bag
• One precision applicator per person, hers to keep — a real tool she can use again on her next kit
• Craft glue to share around the table: 2 bottles, or 3 for 12
• A large printed instruction sheet for whoever is leading the session

We choose the colours

You don't have to pick twelve colour combinations. We put together a varied mix — pinks, blues, greens, neutrals — so that every bag is different and everyone can compare and swap. If you'd like the mix to match a party theme, tell us in the order notes.

You don't need a horse for every guest

The finished blanket fits Schleich and CollectA model horses (scale 1:20). Two or three horses on the table are enough for everyone to try theirs on and take a photo — each person takes her piece home and uses it on her own horse afterwards. Handmade to order in our workshop. Please order at least two weeks ahead. For a larger group, a recurring session or a school invoice, email us and we'll build it with you.
